Termites leaving your neighbors house will move through the soil to try to find their next meal. However, most of these termites will be killed before making it out of their house. You only need to be concerned about your house if there is a termite infestation in your neighborhood.

Yes, you should be concerned. However, first determine if the next door house is being treated for termite infestation. If it is, you may have a potential problem. Termites have been known to tunnel for distances in excess of 150 feet underground for a new wood source.

Yes, please have your property tested. Exterminators kill the termites in the structure only; however, termites do nest in the ground too and could come to your house next.
