My overweight cat cannot clean himself. Should I bathe him?

You can bath him with a gentle cat shampoo if he will tolerate it. You can also wipe him down with wet napkins for pets and trim the hair around his anus. It is probably best for you and your cat by taking him to the veterinarian for a check up and put him on a diet food.

Yes. You should bathe him their fur needs to be cleande to prevent them from stinking. They have wipes for cats that are great for this.

it is not essential that if you cat is over weight you shoul bathe him as cats dont like to bath.
