Can you get HIV from a mosquito bite?

No. HIV doesn't survive or multiply in a mosquito's body. Because, HIV doesn't multiply, nor survive in the mosquito, it will not leak into any of the body fluids and only stays in the blood meal and the digestive channel of the mosquito. Therefore, HIV can't be transmitted from one person to another.

You can obtain many serious illnesses from mosquito bites, but HIV is not one of them. There is no record of anybody ever contacting HIV from a mosquito.
